Attended the Nat's planning meeting Saturday and now I can report officially whats going on.
Dates are July 13th. Fri.; 14th. Sat.; 15th Sun.
Events;
Sport scale 509 (JS) (O)
Fun scale big. 526 (JSO)
Fun scale adv. 526 (JSO)* if you have placed in the top three in any scale event at the Nat's, or
pilot request.
F4B scale 510 (JSO)
Profile scale 521 (JS) (O)
1/2A scale * (JS) (O) *Unofficial event.
Registration Fri. 8:00 am. Static starts promply at 9:00 am. Pilots / judges meeting 6:00 pm location TBA.
Sat. & Sun. Flying events start promply at 8:30 am.
Al tho there will be no late fee charged we need you to get your preregistration in to AMA, that is how they determine the amount of trophies we get. The rest we have to pay for. Please, pre-enter.

Allen,

Wow! well done. Thanks for all of the hard work you have done to put to gather a really exciting 2012 Control Line Scale NATS.

I particularly think that the fun scale beginner class is a brilliant thing. Hope the turnout is big.

As for me I want those 5 bonus points for an extra engine in the 1/2 A scale class. I will get it in high gear building my DO 335. I take it the 1/2 rules document posted elsewhere is now official. You may want to re-post it in this thread. Or will it show up somewheres on the AMA site?

Something I forgot to mention, in the rules book it states a penalty for non working retract landing gear. 2012 Nats there will be no penalty for non working retract landing gear in Fun Scale.
