Title: Question about schedule of Nats CL Scale
Post by: Paul Smith on May 19, 2025, 02:52:31 PM
The AMA web site is a bit sketchy.

Does the event director intend to do static judging Sunday afternoon and have flying Monday and Tuesday?
If entries are low, will all flying be done on Monday?

I'm just trying to figger travel and lodging plans.  From where I live, I could drive to Muncie on Sunday morning if the static is in the afternoon.  I'm not asking for a change.  Just a firm idea of the schedule.

Here is a link to the complete schedule (RC Scale and CL Scale) on the NASA website.

See page 2 for details on each day and where it takes place.

Thank you, Pete, I understand now: Friday through Sunday, July 11-13.

The only thing is that the IAC calendar looks like this.  It's not exactly "wrong", just misleading.  If you click the "2 more" pulldown you can see CL Scale on Friday & Saturday.  But if you just read it and don't pull down the pull downs you will be two days late.

Yes Paul, this IAC calendar is not very helpful in this case.  Let me know if you have any questions.
