Congratulations on wining CL Fun Scale with your PT-17 with a score of 102.7 and
wining CL Sport Scale with your WACO with a score of 179.55!

I would also like to congratulate Ed Mason on winning the NASA 2010 Flight achievement award.  This award is determined  by the flight judges and was a unanimous decision.  Ed flew his B-17's in both Sport and Fun scale event all 4 rounds in each event, 8 flights with 4 engined models without a single engine failure!!!

I remember one flight the third engine did not want to start.  So what, with 3 minutes plus 2 minutes for each additional engine, 11 minutes total, to start engines he could have pulled the cowl, changed the engine, reinstalled the cowl and still made the start engine time.   Again, Congratulations Ed.  An award well earned!!

A special thank you to the experienced modelers that volunteered to help judge this year!!

The weather was not stunt heaven, it was even better than that!!  The wind was so light during Saturday and half of Sunday that the stunt pilots would have been complaining about hitting their own wake.

I forgot in my posting above to Thank Jim Fruit for serving as our Pit Boss for the weekend.  Jim must have done it right as I never heard a single complaint.  You normally do not get compliments in that job!!

Well I guess Jim did as I saw him pitting for some of the fliers Sunday afternoon.
