NASA Scale Classic from Green County Airport.
« on: September 24, 2016, 03:13:15 PM »
Static and Friday and the first day of flying went very well.  There is still half the flying left to go.

It will take a while to shrink my pitchers down to a size I can post here.

Nice weather on Sunday.  Everybody got all the flights they wanted by noon.

Well done; John Brodak, Greene County Airport, and NASA.

In answer to a question I couldn't answer on Friday, the Beech Staggerwing is 2 feet, scaled down from 32 feet for a 1/16 scale factor.  It's built from an actual 1948 Scientific kit. Some of my Sunday pictures came in fuzzy due to a mis-positioned control I fixed later in the day.

The award picture.

There were four CL events and somewhat more RC events.

Ed Mason won prizes in both.
