That would cartainly help our intention to promote F4B (C/L Scale FAI) and C/L semi-scale in Switzerland, Carlos. May I suggest you publish my e-mail address peterdgermann@bluewin.ch asking users to share experience?

Hi Paul,
The random motion generator feature was scrapped before launch; I tried to remove it from the documentation but I see it slipped through in a few places. It has now been corrected.

Yes, the self-locking buttons are for channels 4 and 5 and act as a toggle switch (ON/OFF). These were used because, ergonomically, they are better suited for the limited space and the position in which they are located.

Has there been any progress regarding the "all-in-one box"—i.e., servo, receiver, and battery all combined into a single unit, and about the size of a 10-gram servo?

Some F2d flyers in Ontario and Michigan have beaten the 10 gram target, but they don't market the units.  They CAN transfer the module to another plane right quick.

Overall size is a little smaller than I thought. If given the option, I would have preferred 4 toggle switches over the 2 and 2 format. Thank you very much for the detailed feedback. I completely agree, designing a product that works equally well for everyone is extremely difficult, especially because every pilot is accustomed to their own handles, and operating habits. However, feedback like yours often leads to ideas that can benefit many users.

The guard for the five-way selector is an interesting idea, and I will definitely keep it in mind for future designs. I do not think it would be very difficult to design an optional 3D-printed piece specifically for that purpose.

The decision to use two push buttons instead of four toggle switches came from something I discovered during prototyping. When two toggle switches are installed vertically in that area, the lever of the upper switch can point downward while the lever of the lower switch points upward. In those positions, the two levers become very close to each other, making them difficult to operate independently. I believed that would create an even more noticeable usability problem, so I chose the two-toggle and two-button arrangement.

Regarding the throttle-cut button, it is mainly intended for glow or gasoline-powered airplanes that use a servo to control the carburetor. In each model configuration, you can adjust the minimum and maximum travel positions for every channel. For the throttle channel, the minimum position—when the trigger is fully released and forward—can be configured so the carburetor remains slightly open at idle. The maximum trigger position can then be adjusted to correspond with the carburetor being fully open. With that setup, the carburetor always remains at least partially open, regardless of the trigger position, so the engine continues running at idle when the trigger is released. The throttle-cut function provides a separate servo position beyond the normal throttle range. You configure this cutoff position in the model menu, typically at the point where the carburetor closes completely.

When the throttle-cut button is held for approximately one second, the throttle servo moves to that configured cutoff position, fully closes the carburetor, and stops the engine.
