Lew McFarland's Scale Model
« on: December 01, 2011, 11:49:27 AM »
I was going through some old magazines today and I note that Lewis took 2nd place in Open Scale at the Nats back in 1958 with a Berkley Tr Pacer powered by a Fox .19. It featured throttle, flaps, lights and complete cockpit fittings. Of course Lew is also quite famous for his stunt efforts  and designs such as the Shark 45.

YEP!

Saw the Tri Pacer proudly hanging on the wall in his basement many years ago.
If memory serves, it was a pale yellow at the time I saw it.

"Tight Lines!" H^^
