Does anyone know of a source for WWI German lozenge pattern tissue or silkspan? Yes, I've seen the sites for printing our own, but my color printer is down. Prefer 1/2"=1' scale (or, in FF terms, Walnut or Jumbo scale).

I have found that taking a file to Staples / Office Depot / whatever and having them print color is way cheaper than burning up $30+ ink cartridges. My son is taking a photography class and we have been getting 8 x 10 inch color photos printed for a couple bucks.
Save the pattern as a word doc or a jpeg and bring your tissue already attached to carrier sheets and have them print some out for you.

Get a hold of Walter Umland, I think he might be able to help you.

What ever happened to the COVERITE lozenge covering? I have a small amount left from the '70's (I think?) I covered a radio Fokker D8 in it, and it really looked the part!
Is the COVERITE company still going?
Cheers Neville

That particular Coverite was only made for a relatively short period, perhaps 3/4 years. available in 2 scales it was good stuff but it was also on the heavy side. Reason that it was discontinued as I understand it. The stuff was silk screened and it took 5 operations to get the stuff printed so cost got out of hand for making this product.
I have seen rolls of this product go from $35 to $50 per roll.
Another source might be Arizona Models. I have heard and read some reports of slow or problimatic service from them but I do know that they make camefloge. It isn't cheap but it does come in 4 and 5 color and in different scales.
