thanks for the comments, it took twice as long to write but it was worth it. What sparked the last 3 columns was some questions I got during the contests I attended in 2016

The Oct column will talk about test flying, trimming, checking the CG, line guide location and test flying

It would be very informative if you did an article on determining c.g. for different wing layouts, swept back, delta, canard, etc..
