Curtis Robin OX-5 Three Views
« on: August 27, 2018, 05:45:53 PM »
I am in need of three views for the Curtiss Robin that was powered by the OX-5 engine. I don't need model plans as I would create my own. The OX-5 engine is the one that creates a bulky, squarish nose on the airplane. I am not looking for the round engined version. I would be pleased to pay for any printing and shipping costs if you have something. Thanks for any help guys.

Highly recommend that you check out Aircraft Documentation Service at   http://airdoc.biz/   .

This was formerly Bob's Aircraft Documentation.  There are two different sets of drawings available, each rated as having good detail with cross sections.  These would normally be more than adequate to support your scale documentation for your scale project.

He also has listed a number  of "Photo Paaks" (18) for the Curtis Robin with different color schemes, cockpit details, engine details, landing gear, maybe 300 photos in all.  These are normally good quality photos, though not cheap.

If you are doing a serious scale project, then you cannot go wrong in checking this stuff out.

Joseph Nieto Sheet 1...

The Nieto drawing is available from the National Air & Space Museum archive for a modest charge. It might take a couple of weeks to come but all of my dealings have been OK.
