And my favorite the Mistel, A Bf-109 combined with a Ju-88. The Ju-88 would be dropped, the nose is a warhead. Another Kieth Trostle master piece.

Some of the models seen in Fred's 3rd photo above weren't entered this year, although they are prior winners and just here for display.  For example, Keith Trostle's magnificent Tupolev TU-95 was the winner one year.  I believe his XB-47D won, or placed very high, at the Nats one year.  Leroy Black exhibited several models he'd previously flown here, in addition to his HE-219 and ME-410 entries this year.  Ted Kraver's F7F won the 1/2A event at last year's Nats.

This thing is growing.  Too bad we're so far away for many of you.  Wish entries would increase here.

Thanks for the idea, Ron Duly and Dave Braun, c.1976!!!

We're going to do it again next October, so get to planning and building.  This is the country's largest "1/2A" (1cc) multi-engine profile scale contest.  Full details, rules and dates next Spring.

Super looking stuff, Leroy's Owl is awesome. Looks like the Hughes XF-11 is only one inch wide and contoured to near scale dimensions! Ingenious strategy by Keith.
