Title: C/L and R/C Scale processing was last night?
Post by: Chris McMillin on August 09, 2008, 08:55:55 AM
No news on the AMA site yesterday on the incoming Scale fleet. Most events had a blurb entitled "Scale to start, preview" or something like that. What happened to the Scale coverage?

According to the event calender, static should have happened yesterday starting at 8 am.

Any news from those involved?

Here are some pics from Saturdays 1st and 2nd rounds. They took the score sheets down before I could get a picture. I can tell you that no one is running away with anything, it's close in all four classes. More tomorrow,

Blessings

Nats News for Scale is a dominant C/L subject.
Check this http://www.modelaircraft.org/events/nats/natsnews.aspx
The AMA News letter for the nats was excellent for C/L Stunt this year, this coverage is equally impressive.

P.S. Check Allen Goff's static score for the Ryan, excellent and in the hunt.

Chris;  I have a few bugs to work out. My second flight score was 1800+??? The first flight was marred with on board battery problems. I used 6 of my 9 minutes just to get it in the air, and they stop scoring at 9 minutes. Thus the bad first flight score. We'll get em tomorrow.
The Ryan flies pretty good for just three flights. Got to know your equipment, and I just need to know the Ryan. Write more tomorrow.

Blessings

Here are a few pics of John Brodaks airplane. You have to see the work on the prop close up to appreciate it. The machining is masterfully done. The scale Nats are done, and I am done too. By by.

Looks like a lot of control line entries.  The AMA hasn't posted final results yet.  So how did you do?  DOC Holliday

Doc, look at Chris's #6 post this topic and go to that www site, you can find that information. AMA has it on "Nats News".

The last Nats News report is great. Nice to see the Bauer boys picture.
Also happy to see my old friend Frank Beatty there in an FAI podium finish. Nice job, Frank!
Maybe John Brodak can take the reins of the NASA SIG!!!
