One more flight judge needed for the nats next year
« on: October 04, 2011, 01:23:46 PM »
Oooooookay - here we go.  I'm searching for one more flight judge for the 2012 nats on July 14 and 15.  There are a lot of guys who qualify, but Allen wants all those who can to fly!  I agree.  Now, if you are interested and can prove you won't have an airplane to fly, ;D I'll consider you. y1
If I get more than one name, I'll put them in a hat and have the wife draw one out.  Don't all rush at once, now.
If you like, you can email me at wilhint@roadrunner.com or contact me through Stunt Hanger, your choice.

Will:

I really hate it that you are getting zero responses. I already advised Allen that I would help with static, pull test, etc. I plan to fly at least Sport Scale and maybe F4B. I will not fly the rest. However, any other way that I can help, just let me know. I come to Muncie on Thursday and stay until scale is done. I had to leave early this year because my wife had experienced bad storms and needed me at home. Let me know if I can fill any of your slots.

Thanks Jim, I'll keep you in mind.  I figure I'm a little early with the request, maybe when flying season has ended for we yankees the guys will spend more time here and some will see this and respond.
I don't know if Allen has pull test people in place yet or not, but we'll make it somehow.  I'll let you know well before hand on the needs.
Blessings,
Will

I am not sure I would even qualify however I am planning to bring 3 airplanes to the NATS. Profile, fun, and 1/2A.  Hopefully someone will step up to the plate.  I have attended only one Nats and one FCM contest at Muncie.  What a great flying site!!

John, I'd rather see you fly than judge because your airplanes are so great!!!  You're bringing three?  Fantastic!!

I would recommend either Jack Sheeks or Steve Couch.  They both have winning records at the NATS and would be impartial judges.
Clancy

P.S. I am bringing two or more myself.

Thanks Clancy,
If Steve is back to full strength, and Jack as well, either would be welcome, but at the FCM that wasn't the case.
I'll get in touch with them later on this winter to see how they're fairing.

I plan on bringing the Taube, with the new engine that Jim Fruit gave me, along with a couple of more.
