Title: B-29 Video - VIdeo from Vertical Fin
Post by: Fred Cronenwett on August 01, 2016, 05:49:34 PM
got a flight in yesterday at Buder Park with a small video camera mounted to the Vertical Fin looking forward. The camera is very small so it did not affect the CG  but did change the flight trim slightly.

 Neat video Fred, thanks! y1

 Sounds more like a 707 than a B-29 though.  VD~ :##

If the model had four strokes it would sound awesome but not willing to deal with glow motors again on quad. The sound is interesting

Again? Have you built a four engine IC model in the past?

I had a Tri-motor airplane (sport model, not scale) that was glow powered and it worked great. It had a .35 in the nose and .25's on the wings. then I did run the four OS .25 FP's on the quad test stand without any problems. So this is my first quad but have built multiple twin engine glow powered model then did the Tri-motor.

I considered making the B-29 glow powered but decided to put the electric power on board instead
