Allen Goff:
Peter Bauer and I will be the C/L scale ED’s for the 2022 Nats.
One change for next year will be the substitution of F4B for Authentic scale. These two classes are close in requirements
and we’ll discuss the difference later this year. I will mention one item. Authentic scale requires 6 options, FAI F4B requires just 4, and the scoring is on a K-factor.
We hope to reinstate FAI F4B C/L scale back to the world championships.
NASA is busy raising the funds to totally pay for 6 team members and two managers for the 2024 USA F4 team. More on this matter later.
Get busy building.

Blessings
Allen

Fred Cronenwett:
The Nov 2021 CL Scale column (Model Aviation) will also cover how to build and fly in F4B scale

Which year F4B rules will be used for the 2022 Nats? the 2010 or the 2014 rules?

Allen - F4B does not allow for 2.4 Ghz it only allows for down the line or 3-line, will this be adressed?

Fred

Allen Goff:
Fred, we’ll know by years end. FAI F4B rules committee will zoom meeting next week. I’ll keep everyone informed.
Blessings
