Registration for the 2022 Scale Nationals (NATS) is open on the AMA’s website. For those who are planning to attend this year’s Nationals July 14-17 (Thursday the 14th is arrival day) please go to the AMA’s site and register. I paid a visit to Yolanda today to take care of some “Nats” business. She informed me C/L scale has only 4 registered pilots. Da……
If you plan on competing this year ….. What are you waiting on? If we miss the trophy cut off date there may be less awards than 3 per division. mw~ Get off your and register

There is an ongoing problem with online registration that STILL has not been addressed.
When registered for Carrier I was charged a $50 BASIC entry fee plus $10 per event.
But when I try to add an event or two in Scale or Speed, the site insists that I pay the $50 again for each category. Hopefully, this is just a programming error and not AMA's current policy.
I don't believe that this was resolved in either 2019 or 2020.

I don't mind contributing $10 or $20 to help the trophy count, but not $60 or $70.
AMA needs to address their ongoing problem with basic entry fee on line.
The contestant can just enter one category on line and pay cash for the others at Muncie, but this does not help the trophy count.

Yolanda can be a big help. when you fly stunt, speed, racing ,and scale the basic entry fee`s can get pretty heavy

Very true. You can enter The Nats by calling Yolanda. She gets results. I agree. So why have a web site that does not get results?
AMA must be able to figure a way to recognize the basic fee problem after all these years.
