Title: 2016 Nats Dates - CL scale - June 24-26

in the Open section there is a post by Bob Heywood confirming that the CL scale events will be flown on June 24-26, 2016

All other CL events will be flown 3 weeks later on July 16-23, 2016

Brodak will have their Fly-in on June 13-18, 2016. If they follow the normal schedule CL scale at the Brodak contest will be the weekend before the Nats

If you are a cross over pilot that flies CL scale and other CL events that means two trips to Muncie. Hopefully we don't loose too many pilots due to this scheduling.

     I'm having trouble rapping myself around that one Fred. Are we sure its not scale on July 24 and 26? Is this going to be the dates for RC scale also?  Eric

No, the RC and CL scale dates have been pushed back into June, while all of the other CL events are in July like normal.

There hasn't been a real 'all-in-one-week' Nats since the Navy left.  Today it's in the hands of Quadcopter bureaucrats.

<sigh>  I miss the Old Days....as do many others.
