2014 C/L Scale Nats. updated. Tues. July 8th

Gentlemen, a friendly reminder to pre register for the scale Nats. Last year you did not register in time to make the numbers for awarding three places in all classes. As you know Charlie Bauer and I picked up the tab for all third place awards. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY.

Here is the way AMA calculates the awards they give us, if we don't meet their numbers in time, we do not get them or someone else pays for them.

Free trophies from AMA are calculated by pre-registrations. The cut-off for this calculation is 6/20.
We'll automatically get a 1st place for each class

If 4-6 sign up in a class, we'll get a 2nd place award.
If 7-9 sign up, we'll also get a 3rd place award.


Also, remember 1/2A scale pilots only will be entered in a drawing for a $150.00 Brodak gift certificate.

I am still leaning toward coming to the NATS this year. I have test flown my Fun Scale ship and it will be ready.  I hope to test fly my profile in two weeks.  The 1/2 A is not far behind.  If all goes well I will send in my registration before the 6/20 deadline.

Is this to say, there will be no plaques or other prizes for 1/2A, other than a chance at raffle?

Mon. is the cute off date. I know several that are coming to the Nats and have not registered yet.
