Title: 1993 Junior Scale Champion
Post by: Chris McMillin on December 18, 2017, 02:22:57 PM
Here is Jeremiah McMillin, Jr. Scale Champ, 1993 in Lawrenceville, Illinois with his Focke Wulf 190 and puny AMA plaque for first in category. I went home and raided my trophies and had a shop make one deserving of the National Champ!
He was also 2nd in 1/2A Profile Proto, he is holding his ship based on Harry Latshaw's 1/2 A Hustler.
He raced Class I Mouse and did well but his engine came off in the semi final and he didn't advance, and 1/2A Speed but was just out of the money in 5th and 4th respectively.
He was 12 years old.

Doc,
Wasn't it one of your boys flying in Mouse that year? Fun event when kids are flying them, amazing how they could get tangled up and untangle through the race. Jer is 36 now!

HA! Yes I do remember that. Embarrassing parents is what they do so well! I know, Jessie is 34 with a little baby!
I'm sure that it'll happen on AA sometime, or something like it. I never give it a thought. I didn't do it! Have no allegiance to the airline, I just work there for money.

My son quit going to the NATS after the trophy fiasco in which only first place awards were given for JR-SR entries. D>K
