1972 scale at Muncies Westside park. pics.

Here are pictures from scale competition at Muncie's Westside Park (1972)
As I remember this B-52 flew great. All I have written on the back of the picture is Mr. Ford. I believe he was stationed at Wright / Pat air base then.

The other picture is of Mr. (SGT.) Ford, Ralph & Cathy Bernstien. I think Ralph took 1st place.

That was only 42 years ago, geeeee, I got old. n~

Blessings

Tech. Sgt. Gordon E. Ford. He was with the Dayton Buzzin' Buzzards while stationed at Wright Patterson AFB.
The C5 was a real handful. He flew it off the grass once for a demo at a FTD staff picnic.

Chris, do you remember the RC B-36? I was there in 72 and was competing in Rat Race and Goodyear. I did travel around the grounds to see other flying, that's when I saw the B-36 making a low fly by, WOW very impressive. Ah, the good old days when everything was to gather for one week. This is one thing I wish the government hadn't got out of. Thank you Navy.
Blessings
