1/2A scale @ the Nats. Prize. Update & change
« on: January 17, 2014, 10:11:51 AM »
John Brodak and FCM are putting together a special prize for 1/2A scale fliers at the Nats this year. ONLY 1/2A registered competitors will be entered in this free raffle. One twin P-15 Mustang kit with two (2) Brodak .049's. This is a $160.00 prize. #^ #^ #^

So get building and we'll see you at the 2014 scale Nats.
Blessings
Allen

When the April issue of Model Aviation comes out look for the CL scale column that I just turned in, it covers the rules that are out there and where all of the contests are located.

You can fly 1/2a Scale at multiple events across the country and then of course at the Nats!

These are the 1/2a events that I have found during my research on this event...

Milwaukee -                 June 8
Brodak -                      June 10-14
Nats -                          July 11-13
FCM -                          Aug 23-24
Sugar Grove, Ill -         Sept 14
St Louis -                     Sept 20
Tucson -                      Mid Oct
Phoenix  -                    Late Oct

The Tucson event MAY (repeat: MAY) be Oct. 11-12, although that's dependent upon securing the OK from the Parks & Rec. Department.  Stay tuned....

Two 1/2A's on the building block. Here are the McHenry's two new 1/2A's. A Sukhoi, his daughter Mel will fly and the other is a Japanese Zero with Mike as the pilot. It should be a interesting time at the Nats this year.

Blessings
Allen

Let us all see what you are building, 1/2A that is.

After conversations with other pilots, John and I have decided to change the raffle prize for 1/2A registered pilots at the "Nats". Instead of the twin Mustang and two .049's, we are changing it to a $150.00 gift certificate for Brodak hobby. #^ #^

Here's a pic of the Sukhoi ready for clear. I think it's an appropriate color scheme for the pilot. Now time to work on the Zero.
