That is one huge bird.   Watched a documentary about it.   One flight it broke ground right at the end of the take off strip.   H^^

Could be done as an electric.  Paint job looks easy enough - all white with some trim. Not sure what flight options you would use.  High flight would be hard.  Touch and go would also be hard.

 Yes, the real plane is huge. The model doesn't have to be, depends on the scale. D>K

 The "it would be easy as an electric" thing always bugs me. Heck, any plane would be, but only as impressive to operate as a hair dryer. ;D

 I'd like to see someone here build a MAN'S model... y1

It would be pretty impractical to use 6 glow fan units in a swept wing transport jet for C/L Scale. What size and where would you get the units?
Complex multi-engined models are never easy.
I saw where a poster said that it could be done as an electric, and I saw where it was written that the paint job would be easy as it's all white, but I didn't see where it is written by anyone here that'd be easy to make it electric!
Besides, all jets sound like hair dryers.

Is true - the one thing lacking in scale electric power is realistic sound.  However the lack of slimey fuel tanks, exhaust pipes and heads sticking out in the wrong place as well as the ease of starting multiple engines makes electric easy compaired to glow.  Electric ducted fan units are readily available.  
The Spruce Goose, in the movie Aviator, is a prime example of an eight engine electric scale.  The movie people had the added problem of starting engines on water and needing to be airborne at a moments notice when lighting and cameras were ready.
Of course it goes without saying this would be a major $ project.

Way too big!  Also they are team scale at a minimum!!!

P. S. It is my understanding that a lot of the people associated with Aerotelemetry have model airplane backgrounds.

Several years ago I was at Scott AFB in Illinois for Armed Forces day and they had a C-5a Galaxy setting on the ramp.  The pilot was explaining how big the cargo bay is.  The cargo bay is wide enough, tall enough and long enough that the Wright Brothers first flight could have been done inside the C-5a!

I suspect that you control system works well on multi-engine scale models. Works for both gas and electric. True?

Yes it works on Glow or Electric single or multi engine.  Either run all engines off a single Throttle control or I have ran twins with indelendant Throttles.  Yes the first time I flew at the NATS I forgot the second Throttle and only firewalled the Right engine and ground looped my P-38.

Here is a special instruction I drew up for an Electric twin.
