The SH .15, heir apparent to the ASP and Magnum .15 Sport Goodyear engines, is now available from mikegoesflying.com in California for $76.99 plus shipping.
Use coupon code sh15intro and save $15.00.(I'm sure this is a time limited offer)

For more details, see the February 2020 issue of Torque Roll at nclra.org

I just received an SH 15 today from Mike Goes Flying. Now they include a nice blue anodized spinner nut.

It this to say that these engines will be legal for the events?  Who makes that call?

Paul,

was discussed in the previous torque roll.  Yup, they are legal, and Bill has a head exchange program in effect for them.

By definition, whoever makes the rules for the event you are flying decides what is legal in that particular event. The Dallas club did enough flight testing to be satisfied that the SH 15 was an acceptable substitute for the Magnum & ASP. The NATS event is run per Dallas rules.  Other events may use different rules.
