Scale Racing Plane Numbers
« on: August 14, 2015, 11:00:56 AM »
I notice that you have a different number on the wing tip and fuselage than on yours.   On the plans I am building of the Lil Quickie it says the race number must be on the plane.   AMA number goes on upper right wing.  I don't remember any one getting any flak for not using the number of the actual race plane we try to copy.  In fact as event director I never got any protests over it.

I don't think that the requirement is to have the exact number of the real plane. The airplane just needs to have a number on the left wing and the fuselage sides. In this instance, "21" is for the 21st Goodyear that I have ever built.

I put the year I build it so I know when it's old.
