And so it begins...

Thanks for posting these results.
I am especially proud of two of the entrants who share the hangar that I operate my flight instruction business from.
Scott Holmes has only been flying formula 1 for a few years and is a fairly low time pilot but has done amazingly well coming up in the ranks on a tight budget and with an older aircraft. In his rookie race he won silver three years ago.
Robert Austen is also low time on a budget and flying an older plane that he has very little time in. This did not prevent him from trying and even though he did not qualify his determination and effort is commendable.
Wishing all the racers a safe and enjoyable competition.

I'll be there Saturday or Sunday for my 40+ year.

Thanks for the updates.

Today's races. Heat 1C & 1B pairings.
Plus, a look in the pit hangar. Maybe not so much different than under the tent at Muncie.

Where are the wires?

I see Tom Siegler from KS is in the mix. Same guy we used to fly CL combat with a few years ago? Great to see he made the cut.

Charlie Johnson asked the same question. Don't know the answer.

Heat 1C & 1B results. The heat pairings were changed from what I posted earlier so things won't match up.
Tony the Tiger, race number 592, pulled out with an oil temp issue. According to IF1 the DQ's were for low flying.
Daniel has not posted any pics yet.

Heats 1A & 2C pairings for tomorrow.

Heats 1A & 2C results:
Things got a little too dicey for comfort today. Nothing official from IF1 so far.

Indeed, it is. I believe that regular Stunt Hangar poster Dave Siegler is his brother.

The Kraken & Last lap Player right after contact. Frame grab from a very brief video of the incident. The Kraken has been withdrawn. Too much damage to fix on the field. So far no comment from the other team.

Heats 2B & 2A results.
Team Miss Min has had their work cut out for them this year. Finally got things together in 2B.

Bronze, Silver, & Gold pairings are posted.
