Racing fuel bottle

I recently ordered a bottle from McMaster-Carr (mcmaster.com)to see if it would be a decent racing fuel bottle. It came today, and looks like it should work fine. The capacity is 500 ml, or nominally a pint. The Brass tube spout is 5 mm OD. The spout is extendable, and there is a shutoff nozzle on the tip which will need to be cut off. The part number is 1036K13, and the price is only $6.31.

UPDATE: The plastic top broke with the bottle just sitting in the closet. It had never even been used. This isn't the bottle to buy. :-\

Here's another bottle from McMaster-Carr. This one is #1044K4. It is also 500 cc's. It has an aluminum spout with a screw cap. The hole in the spout is small, so I cut off the very tip, and ran a drill through it. We used it all day today with no problems. As a bonus, the bottle is very soft and pliable. This one is $9.15. It is a better choice unless you need a bottle with a spout that can be soldered.

What's the length and diameter, can you squeeze it and draw fuel or do you have to pour it in?

The spout is about 2" long, and probably 6 mm OD. We take the top off and refill through a filter funnel.

It says 3" x 8.25" that must include the tip because that's sounds like a pretty long bottle. A 16oz glass is about 3x5. Looks like a winner. My dad used bottles like that for diesel fuel they lasted years and I still have them. Don't know where he got them maybe Edmunds Scientific.
