Pwop pwobems
« on: September 25, 2018, 06:27:11 PM »
I've been searching Ebay, Amazon and Tower Hobbies.

I have found a very very thin posting of the props we NEED,  7x4, 7x6, 8x6, 9x6, etc.
Plenty of electric drone props.
Maybe props, not glow plugs will be our bane.

Try Brodak and/or horizonhobby.com. Don't forget you can also buy APC direct. You may be spelling "prop" incorrectly when you search!  ;)

Hobbyking have the JXF range available in all those sizes. Priced at about USD1.50 for two.

We use them in our club rather than APC because they're mostly just as good and are a fraction of the price.

Pretty much all racing props come from the cottage industry now.

I guess so.  The days of comparing different brands & pricing has passed us by.  Unless you need props for a quadricopter.

Maybe the makers in Russia, Ukraine and Czechia will recognize our need and step into the US glow engine prop business.

I absolutely hate the interface and search BUT Hobby King has a very very wide selection of sizes and materials in propellers...and you can not beat the prices

No I am not a fan of supporting China Know off clones....but I am also a cheap skate...so one $5 12"x5" three blade to test before I contact Randy or Wilks for a $30 buck prop makes sense to me

DO NOT for get

Randy Smith is holding the Bag on a lot of PROMISED sales for Thunder Tiger Props....

Just came from the APC Propeller site and it looks like they have many sizes of props to play with as well as carbon/nylon. D>K

It seems like the larger-size props are OK.  They still use them for RC.
I was referring mainly to the 1/2A, 15 and 25-size props of which we break quite a few in the events we fly.

http://aerohobby.ca/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3

you must make an account to see the prices...

I like and hate Hobby King... products are actually pretty good...prices are very good... always look at USA warehouse first (cheaper faster shipping)

Biggest PITA is a worthless search function..they literally have 10,000+ propellers

You can buy APC's direct from APC on line and you can buy Master Airscrew's direct from Windsor Propellers on line. Quick service and inexpensive. Yaro @ Aerohobby.CA (listed above) has a good selection of F2D props(molded glass from Ukraine) plus some sport props in reinforced nylon available from Canada on line. You can pay him with Pay-Pal. Just request it and he will bill you.
