I need a 3/16: prop reamer! What do you use?

Just drill it with a 3/16" drill bit. Drill press is best.  What kind of prop, what's it made of. Is there a hole already?

When I first had to ream a prop was told to get a pipe reamer I think its called.  Ream from back a little bit then go to front side a little.  Ream just enough that prop will go on with out too much effort.   I have two of them as well as the FOX and Higgly reamers.  In case you ream too far get some aluminum tubing to get things corrected.

I just use a regular tapered ream from a hardware store or tool supplier.  Not a modeling specialty.  I have a Fox ream that does certain sizes but generally not the French sizes of some European engines.

Chuck, if you need a drill for your clown racer, what you need may not actually be 3/16". The OS 15 FP is 7/32", the OS 15 LA is 5mm, as are the ASP, Magnum and SH. If Jim Lee doesn't already make a finger drill in the size you need, I'm sure he can make one. In fact, if you need one for 5mm shafts, I have some of Jim's for sale myself. You can add it to your next fuel tank order.
