Is this a mouse racer or 1/2A proto?
« on: February 12, 2019, 12:42:05 PM »
Can anyone help me identify this airplane. I think it is setup either for 1/2A mouse racing or proto speed? Motor mounts look like they are setup for TD 049. Tank looks like the type used in speed. Thx

that is the origanal Prowler 1/2 A Proto that my Son Russell flew in JR  at the nats for a couple of years. also worked good as a mouse racer by changing the front end for a reed engine and going to a one wheel gear

If I wanted to get it flying once again, what would be competitive engine? I saw write up in Flying lines where Ken used a converted Picco buggy engine, but such engine work not in my capability.
