How about a fall contest centrally located at what is among the finest CL flying sites in the country? Is this the start?

1&2) Richard Oliver and John Hill pit Richard's Li'l Quickie . Don Cranfill on the handle.
3)Bill Lee and Patrick Hempel check the plug on Patrick's Shoestring Goldberg racer.

5)The wind caught Charles and put him out of the race.
6)Charles Barnes passes Don Cranfill in Sportsman Goodyear.

The Barnes/Barnes team flew a Magnum 15 powered Sig Buster in Sportsman Goodyear. With some beefing up in the right places, this is still a viable airplane.
