They tend to have too long a body, resulting in vibration, body whip & breakage.

I'm hoping between the top piece of spruce, the two laminations on the bottom, and a couple other tricks that aren't obvious, it will survive a year or two and still look good!

end result from a worst case scenario (WAY worst case) was the lower 2/3 of the fuse broke clean through. so the rebuild has some creativity built in to her to make sure even in another worst case she'll still be ready to fight, or at most need a dab of CA here or there.

We were doing some warm up laps at a contest in Warminster, Pa. I had a new pilot flying my #2 Quickie (gosh, it was a good one!). My guy shut off and was coming in hot. I was leaning in with my hand out, ready for the grab. As he came around he stepped out a bit and the plane went right through my legs. Zing went the wings and that was it for #2. TS Good luck at the Nats!

LE has been blunted slightly and not paint line right on the edge, it shouldn't be a razor anymore n~
