Title: Bell Crank Mount
Post by: john e. holliday on February 20, 2015, 04:16:19 PM
Yes I'm working on a Class II Goodyear Racer.   I need to know if this is a legal mounting position for the bell crank.   Pushrod will be out board with the bell crank and control horn.   Holes will be cut through the fuselage for the lines to feed through for hook up to the bell crank.   If you look close you will see I am trying the line connections like Bill Bischof uses.  Went through a couple of 4-40 blind nuts before I was satisfied.

That looks perfectly legal for Dallas!

If you're going to use a reverse bellcrank bend the arms a little to the inboard side so it doesn't lock up.

Well I did a little work and got the wing in place and the stab also.    Had to cut the elevators loose and put the wire joiner in.  Yes, I am slow.
