What size OD do you guy make your barrel nuts for a 1/4-28 shaft on a powerful engine? I've made them 5/16" on a Go Tech 25 with no failures but I'm upping that to .340". I use 1/2" diameter shank of a grade 8 bolts for the steel.

   Thanks for the info but why would you increase prop nut O.D. if you have not had any failures?
