I built this airplane for the AMA museum. I will deliver it next week when I attend the NATS. The model was from a 1960 construction article in American Modeler Magazine. This and several other golden-age racers were the precursor to the Goodyear event. AMA wants it to help depict the evolution of CL racing.

Back when that was published the Flying Eagles of KCK had a series of contest with those that was every other week for 6 weeks. I had the Gee Bee with Cox .15. Meriwether's won almost all of the contests with the Fokerts. It was a lot of fun. That Pesco looks too pretty to race. H^^
