Title: Tom Morris RTF control lines
Post by: andreas johansson on August 10, 2009, 02:55:01 PM
Hi All!

As I don't have access to a good place to make new line sets I decided to try a set of T. Morris RTF lines from CL-Central. CLC shipped the lines fast so I guess they have them in stock, at least the 0.015" x 60 ft that I ordered was in stock. The lines come on a standard 4" reel. The ends are wrapped as per the AMA book and its is beautifully done. The wrapping is about 3/4" long and made of thin copper wire. The ends are not glued so I did put some epoxy about half the length of the wrapping. the lines are made to equal length. The price is about $18 which I think is a real good price.

To sum it up: I'm very happy with the quality and I will probably order more T. Morris lines when I need new lines.

/Andreas

Jim is great at CLC on getting orders out.  But, I would not have put epoxy on the wraps.  It will make them stiff.  DOC Holliday

*************

I have purchased Tom Morris lines for a number of years now and all have been done extremely well.   For the price, it just dosen't pay to do them yourself..
