Title: Tom Morris Profile Cavalier
Post by: Leester on February 11, 2006, 04:18:02 PM
I received my profile Cavalier this week and was immediately impressed by it's packaging. It came in a wooden crate made by Tom I'm sure, secured with screws. No way it was getting damaged. The contents were all packed neatly with items in plastic bags and lots of packing peanuts. As you would expect top quality wood. All parts hand cut and shaped. Elevators and flaps pre drilled for the horn legs, wheel pants shaped and hollowed, fusalage shaped with doublers attached. The hardware is all ready to install, bellcrank with lead outs attached, carbon rods all made and sized, contol horns pre formed. You do have to put the 260pcs wing together Lincoln Log New Millennium which comes with the jig blocks. Wheels main and tail, prebent gear all included. Plans and complete instructions. This will be a "Killer Profile" Outstanding in every way. Kit price was 149.95 + S&H.

Don't know if I'm suppose to give the price on the forum, so go to www.builtrightflyright.com and go to helpfull hints and then scroll down to Tom's PDF files. it is listed under piece kits classic 500 to 600 sq. in. I spelled the site name wrong should be ok now.

Hi Guys,
Tom Offers his Cavalier kits in six different forms.
(1) Prints for scratch building.
(2) The builders kit, nothing preformed or built.
(3) The quick build Cavalier, which is made up of prebuilt parts.
(4) The ready to paint Cavalier, for those of us with little time.
(5) The painted, ready to fly Cavalier, for those of us who have the money but no time to build.
(6) Full built up Fuse or profile

I have flown a Cavalier in one form or another for at least six years. I consider it one of those things that you will just have to try sooner or later. If you have never built and flown one, you own it to yourself to try it just once. Very competative ship. If you catch me a the field I'll let you fly mine!
