I just heard about this New offering from Top Flite. It is scheduled for release in mid April from Tower Hobbies.
Engine  .40 - .51
Wingspan:  56.5
Wing Area:  677 sq.in.
Flying Weight  60 - 70 oz.
Wing Loading:  10.4 - 11.5 oz/sq ft
Length: 46"
Adjustable lead outs, Tip weight box,Fiberglass Cowl & Wheel Pants. 
Price: 119.99 (Arf Only) Combo (LAS 46, Lines,Glue ++) 224.97
Looks really good,We'll have to wait and see if they have made improvements to the controls so we don't have a big list of modifications to make.

Now that IS very interesting!  I didn't realize there was enough market for C/L planes that TF would be willing to produce a "high end" competition based plane.
Maybe that's a real good sign since TF isn't going to gamble on a dud when looking at their recent history.  Guess the Nobler has been a good enough seller for them to move up.

I already have one on back order.  With the discount coupon you can get one for $100.00.  Will give a report as soon as I have it in my grubby hands.

It would be nice if they use REAL Monokote. I ordered one also but living in Illinois I have to pay state tax which sucks.

I imagine it will sport the same covering that the Tutor II is covered with.  But the Flite Streak and Nobler both use genuine Monokote, so perhaps we will get luckey.  I usually recover ARFs anyway.  I never am satisfied with the factory covering job and end up ripping it off.
