Eric's Stuka is of high quality, and is a fairly small plane as full stunters go. The TT25 should be great in it. Only issue I could see would be the weight of the TT25, but it isn't bad. I have flown the Stuka on an old Fox 25 (three bolt backplate from '57) and it had plenty enough grunt to do hte job. A TT25 should be stronger!

Bill, I don't think that there is enough of a weight penalty in the TT25 vs the Fox 25 to get too excited about. I've used that and the OS25 in quite a few planes both small and large and balancing the ship is not a problem, nor managing the power. The TT 25 will fit in that cowl beautifully and probably do a nicer job then the Fox 25. I'm partial to modern motors and while I have the Fox 25 it stays in the box, I never liked a 4/2/4 run.

Do you have the old '57 Fox 25?? If you are not planning on using it, maybe we could mke a deal. :) I still like a *little* break in my engine run. Even the PA 61s on pipe are running a "break". :)

I haven't built one, but I purchased one for a friend and got a chance to check it out. Everything looked very nice, with great wood and quality cutting, nice kit. ;D

Bob Smiley from Kingston, WA/Tucson, AZ had an RSM Stuka with a .25LA. It was an excellent combination for a smaller person, but not quite right for windy conditions. It would fit nicely in a small car, as long as you use cable leadouts. Randy Powell may have flown it, so you might get an answer from him. ~^ Steve

I have one under construction. Fabulous kit; great wood. Mine will be powered with an OS LA25. That engine puts out plenty of power.
As mentioned above, it is a much smaller plane than I remember as a teenager.

If you can swing it earlier you'll save some $$$ Prices go up I believe Oct. 1 on RSM kits.

Here's an idea that would be VERY cool, EASY, and something COMPLETELY different.
You could do the Stuka in a solid bright red, put WWII era U.S. stars and bars on it, and pretend it's one captured by the U.S. during the big one. The stars and bars can be purchased from Sig on a sheet and are really cheap, or, Major Decal has some too that are a little more $. Most good hobby shops carry both, or can get them for you.
Man, I've got myself thinking on this one... >:D
