National Balsa
« on: March 16, 2009, 01:44:55 PM »
I sent National Balsa an email requesting some sheet balsa in not the standard thickness. I was looking for .077 X 3x 36 contest balsa. They sent me a formal quote. Pricing was not out of line at all. There was a disclaimer that I could not return the .077 since it was special order. I said ok, get it coming. I had order at my door within 3 days. The wood is very nice and all sheets are useable. I would order from them again anytime.

I just received my first large package of balsa from National Balsa.  All the usual sizes of 3" sheets.  I'm quite pleased with the quality and prompt service.  (prices are pretty good, too).

I turned to National Balsa once Lone Star had their fire.  Always excellent wood (always get what I order) and decent prices.  I will now order from Lone Star and just do a "comparo". ;D

I will probably go with which ever one has the best wood at the time. ;D
