I needed 20 sheets of 3/32" x 3" x 30" Contest weight balsa for a special project.  Of the 20 sheets, I needed eight of "C" grain.  I called Lone Star Balsa late in the afternoon and spoke to Lou.  She told me that she didn't have any on the shelf but would let me know first thing in the morning if they had the stock to cut it for me.   Sure enough, I was informed the next day that they could supply it.  I placed my order and I had the wood within three days.  The wood was perfect, better than I expected.  The over-all weight of the wood came out to 5.5 lb./cu. ft.  That's what I call selection and service.
