I recently received several sets of Jim Lee's recently introduced aluminum thrust wedges. I ordered wedges with one, one-and-a-half, and two degrees offset. As with all of Jim's products they are very nicely made and will make any installation requiring offset look clean and professional. In addition, they are thick enough to hold up without distortion under the compression of a mounted engine. Thrust wedges are not high zoot or sexy, but if you want or need some that are available in half degree increments, I don't think you can beat these.
I typically do not use offset when mounting my engines but I will be glad to have these available for the first couple of flights oaf a new plane or if the trimming process indicates that just a tad might be required.
