Got a tip on trying this glue from an old fiend. I use it for many pourposes including plywood doublers,maple motor mounts etc. Water soluble,very quick drying, and sandable! I spread it on one surface then using a brush dipped in water I spread it into a thin coat covering the piece. I then use clamps to pressure the two pieces together. Works easily, better clean up than epoxy and much cheaper. Available fom Ace Hdwe.

At first, this seems like a winner. However, I avoid water-soluble adhesives. I once tried Titebond
for 1/32 ply doublers onto 3/32 balsa fuselage sides. Even though I had weights on it, the pieces
warped pretty badly. I scrapped what I had and started over with epoxy.

Huh...I've used Titebond yellow glue to laminate 1/32" ply. doublers to 1/16" balsa fuse sides many times, never a problem. different conditions, or different glue maybe?

May try some of this stuff when I need some more glue. Right now using the Elmers Wood Glue, light tan color with good results. Now as far as laminating, I have done it for years using Elmer's White Glue and recently the wood glue. Needs to be put on very thin of straight from the bottle. Then the weights and left to dry for a week or more as being water base it has to dry. The weights hender the drying process. Also lately I have been using the Gorilla glue that expands while curing. Another glue that goes on very thin for best results. H^^
