Title: Knights of the Round Circle - Los Angeles & Orange Counties CA
Post by: Larry Renger on April 17, 2007, 05:57:50 PM
We fly both days, every weekend at Whittier Narrows Park.  We have a huge paved area with 2 circles and a speed cage.  There is a permanent carrier deck, and a combat area.  There is even a tether car track, one of only two in the country. The field is maintained by the park department.   If you are in the LA area on a weekend, come on by!   Location is at the intersection of the 60 freeway and route 19 which is Rosemead Blvd. in South El Monte.  Due East of Los Angeles city center.

Enter the North West quadrant of the park (it surrounds all 4 corners of the intersection) from Rosemead Blvd, just north of the freeway.  Turn left and follow the road around to the South West corner of that quadrant.

We meet once a month at the Fullerton Airport at 7:30 on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.  We meet in the AFI building, just west of the tower.  The airport is on Commonwealth, just west of Magnolia Blvd.
