The Dayton Buzzin' Buzzards Model Airplane Club, chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) in 1947, is one of the oldest continuously operating control line clubs in existance. Though we are primarily a sport flying and Precision Aerobatics club, members have some expertise in the racing and carrier disciplines.
During the warmer weather months (primarily April through October), the club meets at the Dayton flying field located behind Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark, 1301 East Siebenthaler Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, on Tuesday evenings. Flying activities begin at approximately 5:30 - 6:00 P.M.
During the winter months, we meet monthly on a Tuesday evening at a location TBD.
Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or expert flyer, if you have an interest in control line modeling, we would love to have you drop by the flying field to see what it's all about!
