An OTS legal S-1 Ringmaster with a stronger wing. This airplane is legal for OTS competition! The spar is slotted for the ribs. The spar and ribs go together in “egg crate” fashion. The spar and spar caps form an “I” cross section. The spar is “rebated”, that is the spar caps lie beneath the center sheeting and the spar height is reduced beyond the center sheeting. Balsa fillers are used above and below the spar caps on the ribs not under the center sheeting.  This hides the spar and spar caps from view when the wing is covered.  The 3” Bellcrank mounts suspended in the wing. The kit is laser cut, the CAD plans show all parts full size. The airplane has a 42” wingspan and 381 square inches of wing area. The kit includes the landing gear wire, the Bellcrank pivot wire, the pushrod wire, the landing gear clamps, an adjustable leadout guide, and screws. The engine mounts are hard Maple.
