This laser cut kit is for a Profile Scale P-47D “Bubble Top”. The airplane is 1/8 scale. It has a 61 1/8” wingspan and 688 square inches of wing area. The airplane is for 60 to .75 engines. This is a large airplane, it will present very well on the ground, or in the air. The fuselage is 11 ¾” tall. The main gear carry 4” wheels. The construction is light but strong. The airplane is not designed to be as light as a Profile Stunt airplane, it is more rugged than a precision aerobatic airplane, but not as heavy as most profile airplanes this size. The airfoil is not symmetrical, but the airplane will do all simple maneuvers, inside and outside loops, inverted flight, figure eights. The plans are CAD plots with full size templates of all parts. The kit does include control system hardware. The plans show the RSM 4” carbon fiber Bellcrank, pushrods, pushrod ends, and elevator horn.
