MONO SLOB

This one was inspired by the Bi Slob designed by Ron Pavloer. The airplane is for .25 to .40 engines. It has a 36” wingspan and 495 square inches of wing area. The side elevation is symmetrical about the centerline. The airplane may take-off and land in either direction. Besides wild flying the airplane does not have a “Green Side”. There have been several times it would have been nice to have wheels on the other side when I had to land from inverted. The laser cut kit has CAD plans with all parts shown full size. The kit does not contain any control hardware. Being able to hover a C/L airplane is a function of having thrust equal to or slightly greater than the airplane weight combined with enough control surface to pitch the airplane with only prop blast over the surfaces. The elevator has more control authority than the flaps at zero air speed, the elevator has more moment than the flaps and more throw. The kits will sell for $115.00 plus shipping.
