This is a laser cut kit of Bill Bischoff’s Nats winning “Mockingbird” super slow rat racer.  The airplane has 316.4 square inches of wing area, the wing is 1 1/32 thick. The wingspan is 33”. The wing is covered with 1/16 balsa back to the center of the spar. The laser cut kit includes all the laser cut wood parts, the 1/8 X 1 Aluminum for the landing gear, a 4mm screw and nuts for the axle, the sheet and strip wood for the airplane. The plans are CAD plans with all parts shown full size. The kit does not contain any control system hardware. The kits sell for $110.00 plus Priority Mail shipping from 60449.

The Mockingbird did well at the NATS this year. There were 3 Mockingbirds at the NATS. The picture shows (from left to right) Chuck Barnes, Bill Bischoff, and Ron Duly with their airplanes. Bill won second place in Slow Rat with his airplane, with an engine and tank change he won first place in Super Slow Rat. Ron Duly won third place in Super Slow Rat. I want to congratulate all the Slow Rat and Super Slow Rat winners. I want to thank all the Slow Rat and Super Slow Rat contestants for putting on a great show!

The Mockingbird kit has been upgraded. Bill Bischoff sent me a list of suggested changes and improvements to the kit. The plans and cutting files have been revised. All future kits will be the improved design. #^ #^
