Ty is correct, the Mauler is the same size as the Skyraider. The Mauler came with an R4360 up front where the Skyraider came with an R3350. The Mauler had a very short service life.

Pat,
You need to revisit your horizontal stab and elevator design, it is not "scale".
Both elevators have a counter balance on their outboard ends that extends forward to the leading edge of the horz stab. Also the section next to the inboard end of the elevators is fixed and part of the fuselage. The Three view drawing shows these details.
If you could reduce the size to about 340 sq inches of wing you would have a Profile Class Navy Carrier event kit !

Thanks Mike.
Mike is correct, I missed the extended horizontal stabilizer when I returned to this one. I finally found a picture that shows that the elevators are aerodynamically boosted. The design has been fixed.
A 340 square inch profile carrier version would have a 42" wingspan if the aspect ratio is not changed. I fear that the market for a profile carrier airplane would be less than the market for the profile scale version.

Pat,
Looks correct now! A smaller version would still be ok for scale and would also work for carrier. Hit both markets, small as they both are.  Mike
