Title: LIL HORNET
Post by: pat king on August 26, 2016, 10:18:02 AM
This is a reproduction of the Midwest Lil HORNET as a laser cut kit. The airplane has a 24 inch wingspan and 137 square inches of wing area as a combat airplane. With the included stunt tips it has a 22 inch wingspan and 130 square inches of wing area. The airplane is for radial mount .049 engines. The CAD plan shows all parts full size. If you liked the 1/2A combat wings you will have a ball with this one. The kits will sell for $39.00 plus shipping. The plans are available as full size .pdf files for $5.00 .

Pat...I like a lot of your endeavors and I promise some day will buy a few...directly

I managed to buy more plans and kits in the last few years of returning to CL hobby ....than I can complete any time soon

I did manage to get three of your kits third party and the one built, a 1/2a RM bipe was easy to build and flew right off the board for last years round RM round up

Any chance you will morph a Big Otto with your well done CAD and laser ability... I recently scratch built one and it was a royal pain as the plan has zero full sized parts profiles so I had to swag it

To add to what big brother Phreddie said,
What about a two pack kinda situation on these?
I'm really happy about this kit uncle Pat

Fred,
Do you or anyone else have a set of plans I can use to do the CAD design? They do not have to be full size as long as I know a dimension or two on the finished airplane. If someone sends me a paper plan it will be returned.

Thanks,  Pat
As an aside my Dad said that he was in the Army before he found out that "The Eyes of Texas" was not the national anthem.
