This laser cut kit is a Profile Scale Hawker Hurricane. The Supermarine Spitfire got most of the credit for the Battle of Britain, but the Hurricanes accounted for 60% of the aircraft shot down. The airplane is 1/8 scale. It has a 60” wingspan and 580 square inches of wing area. The airplane has the scale Clark YH airfoil. It is for .45 to .60 engines. The airplane has adjustable leadouts and a tip weight box. The fuselage has a ½” core with 1/8 ply doublers and 1/8 balsa skins. The vertical tail and horizontal stabilizer have ¼ balsa cores with 1/16 balsa skins. The elevators have ¼ balsa cores with 1/32 ply skins. The CAD plans show all parts full size.
